Ranet Olap MDX library

Is possible to use this library as a MDX query generator only for a different application?
If so, where can I find examples?

Thanks

Yes, or course.

You can use Ranet.Olap.Mdx library standalone in (.NET or Silverlight) for parsing and creating mdx queries dynamically.

There is parsing and generating sample available at source code:

...\UILibrary.Olap\Samples\MdxFormatter\
or
..\UILibrary.Olap\Samples\MdxFormatter.SilverLight\

It parses a query then it slightly changes the grammar tree and then generate new formatted mdx query.

Cool, what about to build a query based on what UI describes. Sort of a pivot table control.

Our product (library set) as as whole (i.e. Ranet.UiLibrary.Olap) fullfill this job actually - it is one of the main use cases.

See Ranet OLAP video course

There is sample silverlight application (UITest.Silverlight) which shows how to use our controls from web applicaion (UITest.Web):

Additionally (for using without web server) we have WPF version of our library but it is not open source.

Yes, I'm aware of that, I'm just concern for its licencing costs.
